A farewell was held in December 2007 for Padmasiddhi, who is leaving us after many years of close connection with the Hills sangha. Padmasiddhi has been involved in leading meditation and study in the hills for a number of years, and for the past year has been the Chairperson of the Dandenong Ranges Buddhist Community management committee.

The farewell provided the opportunity for his many friends in the sangha to thank him for sharing his great love and knowledge of the dharma with us.

Padmasiddhi is pictured here with Sanghamati and Kath Dubout, who have jointly taken on the role of Chairperson. Padmasiddhi has kindly offered to return to the hills every second month to lead a full moon puja, and everyone in the sangha is welcome to join us in a shared meal with him prior the evening's formal activities.
